Meetings

We meet the 1st Monday of the month at the Lemont Public Library for writing reviews, from 6:30-8:30pm

Writing Workshops

We have a writing workshop for those writers who need to schedule time to write or just want a place to write. The workshops are currently online every Monday night when we don't have an in-person meeting from 9-12.

Writers

We have poets, novelists, short story authors, and memoirists. To learn more about our members, head over to the member page.

Works are never published without a writer's permission.

Join Lemont Writers Guild

The main goal of LWG is to help writers realize their potential. In writing reviews, we highlight what we enjoy about a writer's work as well as address problems with flow or content. If you are looking to improve your skills or get other perspectives, this is the place for you!
Lemont is a smaller suburb of Chicago filled with artists and creative minds. We bring some of those minds together in an informal setting at the Lemont Library once a month for writing reviews.
